Epic Kids

Epic is a brand that needs to speak to kids age 3–12, parents, and educators. We developed a brand that can flex this range—or speak to all at once! Through storytelling and visuals that inspire self-discovery, we aim to unlock the potential of every child through reading.

Epic Brand Video

I was tasked to develop a brand video to drive mass consumer awareness among parents of kids ages 3–12 to inspire use by families at scale. I partnered closely with my lead copywriter to concept and script the story, along with an external agency for the production of the video. The final 30 second spot includes 5 product use cases all seamlessly weaved into an inspirational story. We created versions for both U.S. and global audiences.


Brand Foundation, Style Guide and Visual Direction

Joining Epic during a rebrand, I helped finalize the brand guidelines and create a new homepage video (along with a homepage refresh). We reviewed and defined our brand DNA, annual manifesto and themes. As creative director with a team of designers and copywriters, I maintained the brand’s equity while propelling the visual direction to meet a variety of audiences and market needs.
